The Nightingale and the Rose
The story ' The Nightingale and the Rose ' was written by Oscar Wilde. The relationship between the man and nature is the main theme of the story. Here ' The Nightingale ' sacrifices her life for true and ideal love. At some point in our life , we realise that nature soothes us and shares our pains. This story is about how nature helps man in times of need.
First Showers
The poem ' First showers ' was written by Nalini sharma. The poem is about the happiness that rain brings to us. Here the poet tells us that we can alleviate our pains through the real touch of nature. It soothes us and brings happiness to our mind and soul. So it is the duty of every human being to protect and preserve nature.

The poem ' song of the Flower ' was written by Khalil Gibran . The flower in the poem stands for all that we experience in the life - joy ,sorrow, bitterness, victory, etc. Song of the Flower speaks about the life cycle of a flower and its experiences. The nature plays a dominant role in the life of man , as a curing force.
